Hey there! When I made the very first set of printable banner letters back in 2013 I was blown away at how popular they were and still are today. Over the past few years, the NUMBER ONE request I have received from everyone is for a set of plain black and white letters (and numbers of course). I made the chalkboard letters a while back but I was still getting requests for letters that would fit all occasions. Well peeps, here they are! Same shape as before but with no background. Just plain ole’ black and white.
These letters can be printed on colored card stock as well!
>>>Instructions for downloading and/or printing each letter<<<
- Download- Select/click on the letter you wish to download/print- a PDF version (make sure the latest version of Adobe Reader is installed) will open up and you can download/save to your computer or just print.
- Print-I recommend printing on card stock. Here is the one I use, it’s 90lb card stock.
- Cut-Trim off the excess area using scissors .
- Punch- using a hole puncher, punch a hole in each corner- be sure to not get too close to the edge.
- String together – Add a colored ribbon, twine, jute or my favorite- tulle to assemble your banner!

I love to see what people have made with these letters. You can post to the Swanky Design Co Facebook page or tag Swanky Design Co on Instagram and include #swankyletters

The 4th and 5th get page errors. I tried several times and the others worked fine.

Anyway I can make the size smaller? I need help!
DIY Swank says
On your printer settings, it should give you the option to scale your print down. Normally it starts at 100%. These letters are about 9×7 to give you a starting point.

I can’t get the bird to print. I wanted to print it pointing both ways to look like it was holding the ends of the banner. I can’t get it to print at all. These letters are perfect. We are celebrating my parents 59th wedding anniversary on Sunday and I am making a banner to hang above the table as part of the decorations. If you could email the bird to me so that I could print them turned each way that would be SO awesome. THANKS!

Thank you so much – these are amazing! What font do you use for the letters (the Black & White Banner Letters)? I’m creating an additional one that says ‘Class of’, then another with ‘2020’. So I wanted the fonts to match.
